History of MOMS Ministry
The St. Peter's M.O.M.S. Group was formed in 1996 as a support group for stay at home Moms in the parish. It served many purposes: as a way for Moms to meet people just like them, to make new friendships, to find play mates for our little ones, to foster discussions on child rearing, spirituality, relationships and a reason to get out of the house for some adult conversation. Over the years the group as grown and evolved according to the changing ideas and needs of the group. We have grown from a group of about 8 Moms to over 50.
