Hello Small Christian Community Leaders, Coordinators and Pastoral Facilitators:

On behalf of the St. Peter's Small Christian Community Core team, we wanted to take this opportunity to not only ask for your help, but to also provide you with an opportunity to leverage the St. Peter's Small Christian Community network to get help with your team's/ministry's outreach project.

There are so many great outreach activities going on here at St. Peter's but not everyone knows about them, and there are some where its the same few people involved to get it done. We would like to change that and as a first step we want to distribute a list of upcoming outreach events that are planned by the various Small Christian Communities of St. Peters. Additionally, we would like to publicize stories with the results of your groups outreach activity, outlining what was done, how it helped the people you were serving and what it meant to your group.

What can you do to help and what do you need to do to get help?

Please tell us:

The name of your group
What is your outreach project?
When will it take place?
What do you need most to make your project a success?
Who is the contact person with phone number and email to contact?

We will distribute a newsletter to all Leaders, Coordinators and Pastoral Facilitators with all upcoming events and ask them to distribute to their respective teams. We will also post them on the St. Peter's web site under "Upcoming Events" in the Small Christian Community section of the web site.

For those groups that need help with their outreach events, simply send us an email and tell us what you need, and we will get the word out.

Some of the outreach events that have taken place at St. Peters recently:

- Turkey Drive
- Habitat for Humanity
- St. Marten's Kitchen
- Coat Drive
- Food Drive
- Clothing Swap
- Quilt making for the homeless
- Midnight Run to NYC to feed and provide clothes to the homeless

...and with the holidays coming there will be plenty of outreach events going. Here are a few:

- Used Toy Drive
- Adopt a family for Christmas
- Midnight Run
- Advent Giving Tree
- CLOW's - Heifer International fund-raiser
