"I do not believe that sheer
suffering teaches. If suffering alone taught, all the world would be
wise, since everyone suffers.
To suffering must be added
mourning, understanding, patience, love, openness, and the willingness to
remain vulnerable."
Ann Morrow-Lindbergh
Fees are determined by a sliding scale
based upon income and ability to pay. The first assessment session
is available at no cost to parishioners of St. Peter the Apostle Parish.

WHEN YOU MIGHT NEED HELP: |
|
Given the stress and pressure of modern life,
virtually everyone of us can feel overwhelmed or helpless from time to
time.
When such feelings interfere with your
ability to function, affect relationships, or make you dissatisfied with
your life, consider reaching out for help.
You
might want to do so in circumstances such as the following:
-
Marital, family, or relationship problems
-
Separation or divorce
-
A loved one's illness or death
-
Personal, career transitions
-
Dependence on alcohol, drugs, or other
addictions (individual and family)
-
Being abused (sexually, physically,
emotionally)
-
Feeling lonely, depressed, or anxious
-
Difficult parenting situations
Remember: Being aware that there is a problem is a healthy sign, and
seeking outside professional help is often the first step towards a good
resolution.
