Festival Committee

This committee plans the largest parish community building event of the year, the annual parish picnic and the St. Peter's Festival Mass on June 29 (the Feast of Peter and Paul).  These events bring the entire parish together for fun, community and spirituality.

There are approximately 10-12 planning meetings that begin in March and continue through the beginning of July.  Members of the committee may also have specific jobs the day before and/or the day of the picnic and the Festival Mass.

Anyone who can't serve on the committee, but would like to be a part of this effort, may volunteer to help out at the picnic, for example, by organizing family games or doing face painting.  Parishioners of all ages are needed and welcome.

St. Peter's Festival Mass

Celebrated each year on the Feast of Peter and Paul to honor our patron saint, this parish community event concludes with a beautiful outdoor candlelight procession and a reception in the parish courtyard.

Annual Parish Picnic

This annual parish event is a must!  Bring the whole family and enjoy a day of community, good food and fun.

Festival Mass:  June 29, 2007

8:00 p.m.

Please plan to attend the Festival Mass as we honor our patron,

St. Peter the Apostle, who shares with his co-worker,

St. Paul, the feast day of June 29th.

We would like to make this a special celebration for the whole parish,

one in which the various ministries will be represented.

Children especially are invited to participate in the procession

at the Presentation of the Gifts, led by our First Communicants

who are asked to wear their First Communion attire.

Feel free to call Sheila Ebbels (201-261-3366)

or Chris Black (201-265-6019) if you have any questions.
