Talent Workshop
Do you ever have a recurring thought like "I really should do more to be involved with the poor and the needy" or "I could be a good Lector" or "I'd like to do more for my parish, since God has blessed me with so many things, but I don't where to begin."
St. Peter's Stewardship Council is offering a Talents Workshop on May 6, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. The Workshop will help you discover what your gifts and talents are and how they relate to the ministries at St. Peter's. What you learn about yourself may also benefit your family and work life.
Following the workshop is a Ministry 'Meet and Greet' which will be held on May 21, 2008, also in the Parish Center. You are invited to attend that also. Ministry leaders will be available to discuss how your gifts and talents may apply to their ministries. There will be many ministries there that can be considered 'entry level', meaning they are perfect for someone new to ministry life who may not have a lot of free time available to donate.
