SAFETY PROCEDURES

Safety is of prime importance for our children! Please, cooperate in accordance with safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for our children at drop-off and dismissal times. The following procedures have been developed in conjunction with the River Edge Police Department who has monitored our traffic activities.

DROP-OFF/PICKUP PROCEDURES

Grades 1 and 2
Please accompany your child to their classroom and pick them up from their classrooms at the end of class.

Grades 3 through 5
Park your car in the parking lot and walk to the Fifth Avenue doors to meet your child.

1. We ask that you enter the parking lot via Kensington Road which is north of the Rectory. Please follow traffic pattern on the reverse of this sheet.

2. All drivers should exit from the main entrance/exit from church parking lot.

3. On Sunday, the doors between the Church and the school may be used to enter the school building. On Monday, the only entrance to the building is through the main blue doors on Fifth Avenue.

4. On Monday, there is NO PARKING, STOPPING or STANDING ON FIFTH AVENUE to drop off or pick up your child(ren).

5. The River Edge Police Department has instructed us to tell our Monday families that they MUST PARK IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT (not on the curb in front of church – this would also cause a safety hazard). They will be patrolling and if you are parked or stopped on Fifth Avenue, you may be ticketed.
