Dear Middle School Parents
and Students,
Welcome back to another Religious Education school year. This year’s
middle school program will be held in two nine-week semesters on the
following dates:
First Semester: October 19th through December 14th
and
Second Semester: February 1st through March 29th
The dates for the Semesters 1 and 2 are listed
below.
Sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 and I ask
that your child arrive at the school building no later than 6:55. All
students will enter and exit the building through the school doors on
Fifth Avenue. Attendance is mandatory. The only acceptable reason for
absence is illness or family emergency. You must call the office in
either case.
Our evenings will consist of discussion and scripture and therefore
students must bring their text book and bible to every session. Bibles
were given to the students in sixth grade. If your child cannot find
his/her bible, one can be purchased in the Religious Education office
for $12. Text books will be distributed at the first session.
The catechists and I are looking forward to an informative and enjoyable
year with your child. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel
