Join us for four days of family fun with rides for all ages, games, tasty food, a beer garden, entertainment, and our biggest 50/50 raffle of the year.
For 15 years, the Carnival has brought our parish and community together while supporting the mission and ministries of St. Peter's.

Discounted ride tickets ($25.67 for 30 credits)* available before the carnival begins**. Purchase online to receive your ride ticket QR code that’ll be scanned at rides via mobile phone or printout. No need to redeem at a booth!

1st Prize - 40% of total proceeds

Get your tickets for $15 each in the church Gathering Space, at the St. Peter’s Rectory, or at the Carnival until the drawing on Sunday, September 27th at 7:30 PM. Return paper ticket stubs & payments to the church offertory boxes or the Rectory.

The Carnival runs because our parish family serves together. Whether you're a returning volunteer or helping for the first time, one 2–3 hour shift makes a big difference.
We're looking for:
Adult parishioners & SPA family members (18+) to run Carnival game booths
Confirmation candidates & St. Peter Academy students (14+) to serve as runners and assist with cleanup

The carnival takes place in the parking lot of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church: 445 Fifth Ave., River Edge, NJ 07661.

St. Peter’s is located in a residential neighborhood with sidewalks. You can park on the streets unless otherwise noted by signs.

Each ticket you buy is another chance to win. As tickets are sold, the prize grows.
40% of total sales go to the first place winner
6% of total sales goes to the second place winner

50% is donated to St. Peter the Apostle Church

The drawing will take place at 7:30 PM on Sunday, September 27. Need not be present to win.

In addition to announcing winners at the Carnival, winners not present will be called right after the drawing.
Ride Tickets

Ride tickets will be provided via a QR code when purchased online. You will have the option to receive this via mobile phone or a PDF to print out. Your one QR code can be brought directly to the ride for entry. Every scan will deduct the number of credits needed for each ride, and the number of credits you have left.

Kiddie rides start at 4 credits, and premium rides go as high as 8 credits. Please be sure to check when you get to the Carnival, as this is subject to change.

There’s a kiosk at the Carnival where you can buy tickets or additional credits.

Discounted presale ride tickets bought online cost $25.67 for 30 credits — inclusive of the $2.67 online platform and credit card fees.
For ride tickets purchased at the Carnival, pricing varies by package and will be provided in the kiosk.

Volunteering

Any St. Peter’s parishioner or St. Peter Academy family member ages 18+ is eligible to run a game booth.

When you arrive, check in with the Carnival Committee outside the entrance of the church. They will provide you anything you may need and help you find where to go.
You will be trained on the rules of your game and expectations for running it right before starting your shift. The rules are also posted on the wall.
You’ll be greeting players, explaining rules, handling cash payments, cheering on players, and awarding prizes.
Shifts vary between 2 - 3 hours. You can learn about that specifically when choosing which games to sign up for via the sign-up link.

Assistance will be provided as needed, but please note that it’s not wheelchair accessible.

Yes! You can support us by spreading the word and inviting friends to come to the carnival and to purchase pre-sale ride tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets!

Confirmation candidates can sign up for Cleanup/Runner shifts.
Must be 14+ years old
Will count towards credit for Confirmation service hours
Shifts are 2-3 hours in length
Check in at the head table when you arrive for your shift. You will be assigned an area and once your shift is complete, you can sign out.
