Location

Exterior of St. Peter the Apostle Parish Church with bell tower and front doors on tree-lined street
  • Regular weekend masses are approximately 1 hour long.

Daily masses end closer to 30 minutes.

  • We recommend arriving 5–20 minutes before Mass begins. This gives you time to settle in, pray, and prepare your heart. But please know—you are always welcome, no matter when you arrive. If you happen to be running late, our ushers will be glad to help you find a seat.

  • There’s no formal dress code at Mass. You’ll see some people dressed casually and others more dressed up. As a general guide, we encourage you to dress a little nicer than everyday wear—something that helps you feel comfortable, respectful, and prayerful.

  • Children are always welcome at Mass—no matter their age or energy level! We believe faith is best nurtured when families worship together. As Fr. AJ has said, “Kids are the future of our Church. Let them make all the noise they need. Don’t worry about it at all.”

Our 10:00am Sunday Mass is especially family-friendly, often featuring the Children’s Choir and usually offering Children’s Liturgy of the Word late-September through May.

If you ever need a break during Mass, you’ll find:

    • Quiet benches with speakers just outside the main doors

    • Our Parish Library, stocked with children’s books

    • Two outdoor garden areas perfect for a breather or little legs that need to move

  • Visitors are not expected to give a donation—but we’re always grateful for any gift you choose to make. Instead of passing baskets during Mass, we have offering boxes just outside the church doors for cash or checks, as well as a QR code if you’d like to give through Venmo. Thank you for supporting our parish!

  • There is a large parking lot which you can enter at the main Fifth Avenue entrance, in addition to street parking.

  • Yes. There are ramps on the entryway sidewalks, and elevator access in the side entrance from the parking lot.

  • Everyone is welcome at Mass—Catholic or not! We’re glad to have you join us in prayer and community.

If you’re not Catholic, or if you haven’t received First Holy Communion, we simply ask that you refrain from receiving the Eucharist.

“Be who you were created to be, and you will set the world on fire.”

— Saint Catherine of Siena
