A Message from Fr. AJ 4/18
Dear friends,
At St. Peter’s, we believe community is a key component of fundraising efforts. While we certainly want to raise money, we value coming together, strengthening our relationships, and continuing to build the vibrant, welcoming parish we all know and love.
With that in mind, I invite you to join us for the “Cruise into Summer” fundraiser dinner on Friday, May 15 from 6-9pm in our gym. This joy-filled evening will feature great food, fellowship with fellow parishioners, live music, and fun chances to win!
Because this is truly a community event, I also encourage everyone to participate in whatever way they are able. You might consider signing up for a volunteer time slot. You can help with setup, cleanup, food service, or ticket sales. As the saying goes, many hands make light work, and your help will make a big difference!
You can also contribute by donating to our tricky tray, silent auction, or wine pull. Your additions will bring excitement to the evening and help make the event even more enjoyable for all.
In addition, I invite you to nominate a fellow parishioner to be recognized at the dinner. Do you know someone whose dedication, generosity, or quiet service embodies the spirit of St. Peter’s? This is a wonderful opportunity to honor those who give so much to our parish community. Thank you for submitting your nominations as soon as possible!
Tickets and tables will be available for purchase in the Gathering Space after all Masses this weekend, April 18 and 19. We are offering individual tickets as well as tables of 8 or 10. Seating is limited, so reserve your spot early! The RSVP deadline is May 6.
I especially encourage you to invite family members, friends, or even someone who hasn’t been to St. Peter’s in a while. This is a perfect, low-pressure way to reconnect and experience the joy of our parish community.
For online ticket sales and more details on ways to get involved, visit www.saint-peter.org/cis. Contact the parish office with any questions. I hope to see you there!
In the joy of the Risen Lord,
Fr. AJ
