Welcome, Marie Khouzam! — 8/11/2026
My name is Marie, and I am so blessed to be welcomed into St. Peter’s as your new Echo Apprentice! I grew up in Dayton, Ohio, with my loving parents and two older brothers. I recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago where I studied Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience, and minored in Psychology and Catholic Studies. Throughout college, I enjoyed being involved in leadership for the Catholic student community and serving in the chapel as the head sacristan, both of which deepened my love for the liturgy and Christ-centered community.
My passion for ministry began after my freshman year of college, when I served as a missionary at Damascus, a Catholic youth summer camp. Watching young people encounter God inspired a desire to walk alongside others in faith, and help lead them into deeper relationship with God and the life of the Church. At St. Peter’s, I will be serving primarily in Faith Formation and Youth Ministry. I am particularly excited to build meaningful relationships with your families and walk alongside our young Church as they enter more deeply into the beauty of our Catholic faith. It has already been such a joy learning about this vibrant community, and I cannot wait to meet everyone and serve where God has called me.
