Blood Drive

During Lent, we invite you to live out the corporal work of mercy “Visit the Sick” by giving the gift of life at our parish blood drive. Each donation is a simple yet powerful act of compassion, bringing hope and healing to those who are ill or hospitalized. The blood drive will take place in the Gym on Sunday, March 1, hosted by the St. Peter Academy Student Council in partnership with New Jersey Blood Services (rescheduled from January 18 due to winter weather).

With blood supplies at critically low levels, there is an urgent need for donors. Right now, patients across our region are depending on the generosity of donors to ensure hospitals have the blood they need when lives are on the line. Inspired by our faith and the sacrificial love symbolized in the Blood of Christ, our students invite all who are eligible to participate in this meaningful act of mercy.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged. Thank you for helping put faith into action.

[RESCHEDULED] St. Peter Academy Open House

Our Open House has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 28th, 4:00 -7:00 PM due to Sunday’s winter storm.

Daytime tours are available upon request.


St. Peter Academy (Grades PK3 – 8) invites families to our Open House. Come explore our school and meet our dedicated teachers. We look forward to sharing what makes St. Peter Academy special!

[POSTPONED] Blood Drive

This Blood Drive has been postponed due to Sunday’s winter storm.

A blood drive will be held in the Gym on [to be announced]. It’s organized by St. Peter Academy Student Council and New Jersey Blood Services.

We are currently experiencing a blood shortage emergency and there is an urgent call for donors. Holiday disruptions, severe winter weather, canceled blood drives, and widespread seasonal illnesses have led to a significant decline in blood donations, resulting in critically low blood levels across the region. This leaves a very low supply of blood available at hospitals.

Students from the SPA Student Council decided to host a blood drive because, as Catholics, we are reminded that the Blood of Christ, poured out for us in love, is a sign of sacrifice, mercy, and life itself. By encouraging those of age to give blood, our students are responding to that same call—to give of ourselves so that others may live, heal, and be strengthened. This blood drive is more than a service project; it is an expression of our faith in action.

While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to pre-schedule an appointment. Thank you for your support!

SPA Beefsteak 2026

St. Peter Academys cherished Annual Beefsteak takes place Saturday, January 17th at 4:00 PM in the Gym — a long-standing tradition that brings together nearly 200 football fans for a full day of great food, games, and community. Hosted in true Beefsteak fashion, this banquet-style fundraiser dates back to the late 19th century and continues to support the mission of St. Peter Academy. Nightingale Catering of Clifton provides the classic feast, welcoming guests from River Edge, Paramus, New Milford, Hackensack, and beyond.

Please note this is an adult only event.

Buy tickets via the online form, or download a flyer form below. Payment methods accepted: cash, check, credit card or Zelle (via kflanagan@spare.org). Tickets also will be on sale after all masses the weekend of January 10th and 11th 2026.

Christmas Gift Cards Order Deadline

It's Time for Christmas Gift Cards!

It’s never too early to start Christmas shopping and shopping for Gift Cards from your kitchen table couldn’t be easier. St. Peter Academy is once again selling Gift Cards just in time for all your Christmas and Holiday Shopping! We have access to a huge selection of gift cards including all your favorite stores – Amazon, Dunkin, Starbucks, Target, Shop Rite, Kohl’s, and Macy’s to name a few!

American Express and Visa Cards are available WITH NO ACTIVATION FEE! Pick up an order form from the "Take One" racks at church or print your own here.

You may shop online by visiting RaiseRight.com and use the school ID code of: 25EDCL711L753.

Two orders will be placed before Christmas:

  • Orders received by Nov 17th will be delivered by Nov 25th

  • Orders received by Dec 8th will be delivered by Dec. 19th

All orders must be received with full payment attached and may be dropped off at St. Peter Academy or at St. Peter’s Rectory.

When you order online, you must print out your receipt and bring it to school or rectory with your check payment or your order will not be filled. Credit card payments are accepted online.

SPA Spring Flower Sale 2025 Orders Due

Spring is right around the corner so it's time to order your flats of flowers, potted plants, herbs and hanging baskets! The St. Peter Academy Spring Flower Sale is on and we are ready to take your orders!

Order forms may be found in all the "Take One" racks in the Gathering Space and church exits or you may download the form below. All orders must be received by Friday, April 4, 2025. Please review the order form and mark your selections carefully.

The plants will be delivered to the school parking lot on Tuesday, May 6th from 12 noon - 6pm.

St. Peter Academy will holds its Spring Tricky Tray on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 6pm-10pm in the St. Peter Academy Gym. Order form can be found here. Admission of $45 includes gourmet buffet, dessert, soft drinks, one sheet of level 1 prizes. Tables of 8 or 10 available for a discount, ticket bundles available for purchase.

St. Peter Academy Annual Beefsteak 2025

Join us on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at 4pm in the gym for St. Peter Academy’s annual Beefsteak Dinner fundraiser at St. Peter’s! Great Food! Great Games! Great Time!

  • Both scheduled NFL Playoff Games featured on 2 theatre screens at each side of the gym.

  • Beefsteak dinner by Nightingale catering of Clifton, NJ

  • Pizza served during the second game

  • Raffles, prizes & more

Tickets:

  • $800 for a table of 10 or

  • $640 for a table of 8

  • Individual Tickets are $85

About the Event

The annual Beefsteak has been a tradition benefitting St. Peter Academy. The Beefsteak welcomes over 200 football fans to gather for a full day of games and feasting. The Beefsteak is hosted in its true tradition without formalities in a banquet style of fundraising that dates back to the late 19th century.

The banquet-style event hosts over 200 people catered by Nightingale Catering of Clifton.

Serves community members from River Edge, Paramus, New Milford, Hackensack, and beyond.

Target Demographic

Average Age 30+, Families with small children and growing families.

St. Peter Academy will be hosting a fundraiser comedy night featuring long time columnist for The Record and local comedian, Bill Ervolino. The opening act will be St. Peter’s very own Father Paul Houlis! The event will be on October 4th at St. Peter Academy Gym. Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 7:30pm.

BYOB - Adults only. Snack and soft drinks included.
